The most recent changes are to refresh the look of the web site, to add some recent pictures and extra pages for the cliff team. Before that it was an update to the weather software that uploads the information to this site. Remember that we still send the weather data to twitter using its own account G8TQHWX (or click on the icon below) which you can follow for half-hourly reports and we have the iPhone formatted page too
Those who are interested might like to know that our web site had 1,059,961 hits last year (2011); averaging 2,904 per day. Total visitors came to 29,884 from 4,199 unique IP addresses. After this home page, the most popular were our main weather page and the "old" version of the same thing. The most downloaded file was the realtime weather data; followed by the individual weather archives. The most popular web browser was classified as was "Others" at 783,306 hits followed by IE 8, then Safari. Isn't WebLog Expert Lite wonderful?
The Davis weather station came from Prodata Weather Systems and it's now talking to various pages on this web site. At the moment, there's a problem with the wind speed detaction system (although the direction is correct). This will be sorted soon. We've now settled on the way we're displaying the weather and look forward to receiving any comments. If there's other weather data that you'd like to see, please let us know.
