Welcome to the weather at Rickham.

As of 18 February 2010, the main sensors of the weather station are "down", in the true sense that they are now laying on the patio instead of being up the air. The wind direction sensor has again ceased to work -- but this time, remaking the connection hasn't fixed the problem: it seems the cable itself has rusted out rather than just the cheap aluminium connector. We're now awaiting a response from the manufacturers as to the cost of either a repair or replacement. Then again, we're still awaiting a modern version of the software that will work too!

In the event that they cannot help us, we'll be looking at a replacement for the whole kit -- so the weather should be back soon (but don't hold your breath).
