The record breaking catamaran "Cheyenne" is currently moored in the Salcombe estuary. She's 125 feet long and with a mast just over 147 feet high. She broke the round-the-world sailing record by sailing 28,000 miles in 58 days and 9 hours (breaking the previous record by almost 6 days).

On the morning of Thursday 3rd June, Mike was driving his car towards Vinivers Cross when he saw smoke from the back. He drove onto the verge and jumped out just before it was engulfed in flames.
